The new lift will offer travellers and visitors more comfort once the construction work is complete.

The lift at platform 2/3 at the station Mosbach-Neckarelz is being replaced to improve barrier-free accessibility. Travellers and visitors with wheelchairs, a lot of luggage or pushchairs will benefit from a more reliable, modern system at the station in the future. Construction work on the lift is expected to be completed in autumn 2024. Until then, the existing lift cannot be used.

People with limited mobility are advised to take a lift to the next station, such as Mosbach West, and change there in the opposite direction. In addition, for the duration of the construction work, passengers with reduced mobility are advised to contact the Mobility Service Centre (MSZ) at least one working day before a planned train journey. They will organise everything necessary if assistance is required when boarding, changing or alighting and will help to plan an alternative route. Information about the Mobility Service Centre and contact details can be found at bahn.de/barrierefrei.

We ask for your understanding during the construction work and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
