The coach sequence is a graphical representation of the arrangement of the individual coaches of a train as well as additional information. The feature provides valuable information for travellers who have a reserved seat or rail passengers who have specific requirements regarding their seat or the train equipment.

  • Simple planning: travellers can see in advance on the day of travel which carriage their seat is in and therefore find the best location for boarding the train on the platform
    • Comfort and safety: Choosing the right carriage is particularly important for people with limited mobility, families with pushchairs or cyclists. The sequence of coaches helps to avoid unnecessary journeys and make the journey more pleasant

Whether you are travelling yourself or picking someone up at the train - with the coach sequence you have all the important information at your fingertips. You know exactly where to stand to quickly reach your reserved seat, bicycle compartment, rest area or barrier-free access.

The latter is particularly important for travellers with limited mobility, as it allows them to take up the correct waiting position on the platform in good time to reach the desired area of the train without having to walk unnecessarily.
Families with children also know immediately where the family compartment is located and can plan their boarding in a relaxed manner.
Bicycle travellers can easily find the right section of track to board the bicycle compartment within a short distance. Further information about the equipment in the carriages makes it easier to find your way around the train and during the journey.
