In the video travel centres, travellers and visitors can get personal advice from DB employees via video.

The video travel centre at Dachau station is the sixth in the Munich S-Bahn area. In addition to Moosach, Freising, Starnberg Nord, Tutzing and Wolfratshausen, travellers have been able to get personal advice from DB employees and buy tickets here since May 2024. In addition to Deutsche Bahn offers, the service also includes the complete range of MVV tickets. If you wish, you can also obtain information about offers such as the BahnCard or bicycle reservations.

In the video booths, travellers and visitors at Dachau station can connect personally with travel advisors at the touch of a button via a screen with a microphone. No technical knowledge is required. During the consultation, DB employees guide you through the entire ordering process. Every step can be followed virtually on a second screen. Booked tickets can then be printed out on the spot. Payment is made at the end by card or cash.

The six video travel centres in Munich are open from Monday to Friday between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm and at weekends from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. The video travel centres are designed so that people in wheelchairs can also use them.

The new travel centre is part of the series of modernisations around the ticket machines in the Munich S-Bahn area. Further information on the services and locations of the video travel centres is available on the bahn.de website.
